Backdoor
Friends Purebred Cat Rescue Program was formally organized
in February, 1998.
We
specialize in finding homes for felines in displaced situations,
specifically purebred cats.
We
are a non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation and are a recognized "no-kill"
facility.
Our
mission is to place these cats in a loving and secure environment.
While searching for their new homes, we have off-site foster-care
available, until they are fully adapted and ready for placement
with a new and caring family.
 All
cats available for adoption are thoroughly checked by our
Veterinarian. Vaccinations and necessary medical attention
is given before they are shown to prospective owners. Cats
that are over the age of 6 months are spayed or neutered prior
to going to their new homes. Parents of kittens under 6 months
of age are offered a rebate upon proof of spay/neuter.
